Tristan (they/them) and Lauren (she/her) were so happy to share space with Maygen Nicholson (they/she) in this episode of ALL THE F*CK IN. Maygen is dedicated to helping liberate hearts and minds free of biases and beliefs that inevitably hold us back from our true, authentic selves. They particularly focus on issues related to their 2SLGBTQIA+ family, through facilitating spaces that focus on 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion and validation education with an intersectional lens, all while remaining rooted in wellness.

Tune in to hear us talk about…

  • How Maygen’s path as a yoga teacher eventually led them to leave teaching behind

  • The importance of holding space for educating cis-het folks while also offering validation and affirmation support for their 2SLGBTQIA+ community members

  • The ways in which their work continues to evolve and how they hope to continue centering 2SLGBTQIA+ folks while also prompting cisgender folks to engage in their own gender journeys

  • How Maygen’s own personal gender journey has unfolded and continues to unfold amidst their struggles with anxiety and OCD

  • The insidious nature of transphobia and the ways in which instances of misgendering can lead to the feeling of being societally gaslight

  • The importance of centering their own wellness so they can continue to show up for others

  • and more.
